A Staffordshire Pottery Spaniel Dog with Bird in Mouth. The dog is press moulded and decorated with overglaze red, yellow, green, puce & blue enamels. Date of production is circa 1860.

 

· Dimensions: 10.5cm (4 ¼”) tall and 8cm (3”) by 3.5cm (1 ½”) at the base.

· Weight: ~150g (5oz). Total packaged weight approx. 500g.

· Overall Condition: Excellent.

· Repair/Restoration/Conservation: None.

· Chips/Dents: Small chip to front at base and at rear.

· Cracks: Firing cracks only.

· Other notes: Unusual spaniel with game. Minor enamel losses
